Saudi Arabia reduces tourist visa insurance fees: becoming even more affordable for travelers!

Saudi Arabia is a nation that has been actively developing its tourism sector in recent years. The country has decided to reduce the insurance fees for tourist visa to make it more attractive for tourists and entrepreneurs.

From April 1, 2024, the insurance fee for a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia will decrease. This means that tourists from 49 countries will be able to obtain a tourist visa on arrival through special terminals at Riyadh and Jeddah airports.

This change affects citizens of 49 countries who can obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at the airport. These include:

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brunei, Canada, China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Spain, United Kingdom, Monaco, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America.

Tourists who plan to visit Saudi Arabia must have a visa unless they are citizens of countries that are authorized to enter the country without a visa. Tourists must present the required documents including passport, health insurance and confirmation of hotel or travel program booking. Tourists can obtain an e-tourist visa, which will be valid for 30 days or a year, depending on the type of visa.
