New Hainan Island Visa Waiver Policy: more options for tourists and beyond

Thanks to its visa-free entry policy, Hainan Island is an attractive destination for tourists from all over the world. However, if you plan to visit mainland China, you will need a visa depending on the purpose of entry. Fortunately, for citizens of France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France and Malaysia, no visa is required to stay in China for up to 15 days until November 30, 2024. Soon, citizens of Switzerland and Ireland will also be able to enter China without a visa.
